Panic! at the Disco is a pop rock/electronica band based mostly out of Las Vegas, Nevada. The band is constituted of Brendon Urie (vocals, guitar, keyboard) and his childhood loved one, Spencer Smiths (drums), besides their schoolmate, Ryan Ross (guitar, keyboard, backing vocals).
To advertise their track, the band made touch with Pete Wentz (of Fall Out Boy) by using his LiveJournal website. Impressed by the band, Wentz individually met with the band and signed them to his imprint label Decaydance. Under the label, the band published their debut album, A Fever You Cant Sweat Out, which may debut at #112 on the Billboard two hundred album charts.
Featured in Spin mag as their band of the day in early October 2005, reaching #1 at the MySpace chart, and consistently staying in PureVolumes Top 10 chart, could purely assist grow the bands attractiveness. An look on MTVs TRL on January 17, 2006, on the best of their tune video for I Write Sins Not Tragedies, also helped garner the band much exposure.
